On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Steve Bermel immediately after the conclusion of the Buffalo Sabres losing in overtime in game seven against the Montreal Canadiens, 3-2 to be eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Sabres fell into a 2-0 hole in the first period before dominating the next two periods to tie the game with many chances to win. However, as was all the home games this series they couldn’t get anything from Tage Thompson or Alex Tuch and it hurt them again. The guys talk about that, the Sabres finishing the playoffs just 2-5 at home, UPL playing strong but letting in a goal you gotta make a save on and tons more.

They also talk about what the future may hold for the Sabres. Did this series close the door on Tuch getting a big contract to stay in Buffalo? Will goaltending be their top offseason priority? That and much more is discussed.
