On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by SB Nation’s Matt Warren for his weekly visit to discuss the Buffalo Bills, including their positional analysis and grades from last week’s disaster in Houston before focusing squarely on a huge matchup this coming weekend in Pittsburgh against the Steelers.
It’s not a pretty distinction to have but for the time being, the Bills have established themselves as a pretty lousy road team after falling in Houston 23-19, the third time the Bills have lost this season already as road favorites. Like they do every week, the guys go over the Bills positionally with Matt offering his analysis on how they looked last week and in some cases, for the season before assigning a grade. There’s little to no good grades to be had on the offensive side of the ball, but how did the defense fare in Matt’s eyes?
They also spend some time on Sunday’s game coming up against Pittsburgh, a pivotal one for the Bills. While the AFC east feels all but gone a victory over Pittsburgh pretty much guarantees they’d have to fall apart to miss the playoffs. A loss, however and Buffalo officially finds itself in a fight to make the postseason. That and plenty more.
