On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran has a full preview of the Buffalo Bills hitting the road Sunday to take on the Carolina Panthers including three keys to a Bills victory, five bold predictions for the game and a final score prediction..
The Bills return from their bye week losers of two consecutive games and try to right the ship against a pesky Carolina team that’s won three in a row. Patrick gets into some of the things that have made the Panthers much improved from recent years, including a (very) strong running game spearheaded by Rico Dowdle and Chuba Hubbard and one of the best young corners in the game on defense in Jaycee Horn. As for Buffalo, Jordan Poyer could be making his first start this season at safety and Patrick examines if the offense will start using the running backs more in the passing game.
From there’s three keys to a Bills victory, which includes Buffalo selling out to the run and making Andy Dalton (or Bryce Young) beat them in the passing game. As always there’s five bold predictions for the game and Patrick has a few good ones, including the Bills getting their first interception of the season by a cornerback and a far more disciplined team outing. That plus will the Bills cover the (7.5) spread, the Sabres are looking good and much more.
