On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Matt Warren of SB Nation for his weekly appearance to discuss the Buffalo Bills positionally and evaluate them with grades based on their performance in their Week five loss to the New England Patriots.

Buffalo suffered their first loss of the season this past Sunday and it was a home loss in prime time to a divisional rival to make matters worse. How do the guys the guys think Buffalo’s feeling a few days later? They discuss that and then get into their weekly breakdown of how the team looked position by position. It’s definitely a far cry from most weeks when nearly every position on the team has received honor roll worthy grades. How much does Josh Allen get dinged for some mistakes—some that show up in the box score and some that don’t?

Defensively things get dicey to evaluate and grade because on one hand they kept Buffalo in the game through the first half when the offense totally sputtered. However, as the offense got going after halftime the defense started to struggle like it has a lot of the season. How big is the Bills secondary problem and is Tre White receiving TOO much blame?

They also take a look at Buffalo’s next opponent, Atlanta, their last before a bye week that could prove useful. That plus a look around the league in a week that saw both Baltimore and Kansas City lose again and much more.
