On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to discuss several topics, including examining if Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula is given the credit he deserves for the Bills sustainable success in recent years.

A lot of Buffalo fans have reservations if not flat-out disdain for Pegula because of his ownership with the Buffalo Sabres, an era that’s been scarred by terrible play, terrible coaching and management decisions, Pegula not spending close to the salary cap and never making himself available to speak the media to explain or offer accountability for the Sabres woes. However, the Bills have been a playoff team in every season except one since 2017 and there’s no questioning Pegula’s willingness to spend as much as he can along the way.

Also, Alex Ovechkin broke Wayne Gretzky’s goal scoring record over the weekend, leading to Patrick recalling a Gretzky memory with strong Buffalo ties and Joe pondering what Buffalo sports records feel most unlikely to ever get broken.

The guys also have thoughts on the Bills “stadium topping” celebration last Friday, pretty much on the same page with thinking it was stupid. That plus deciding if Josh Allen or Hailee Steinfeld are more famous, Joe’s Truth or False segment, Patrick’s Mt. Flushmore of garbage party songs and much more.

Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red’s at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. We consider them THE most underrated spot for wings, pizza and other great food in Western New York plus it’s a great place to drink and have a great time.
