The Buffalo Bills are 2-0 and the offense has looked explosive through the first two games of the 2026 season—but are things actually that much different than previous years?

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens for a spirited look at Buffalo’s fast start and some surprising statistical comparisons to recent Bills seasons. Despite the offense feeling more aggressive under Joe Brady, several numbers—including Josh Allen’s passing production, total points, first-down passing rate, explosive plays and even defensive sacks—are remarkably similar to previous starts.

Patrick and Joe discuss what does feel different, including Buffalo’s offensive mentality, increased willingness to attack downfield, the usage of Dalton Kincaid, Josh Allen’s legs, three-tight-end personnel and the relationship Brady appears to have developed with his players.

They also look around the AFC following Sunday’s action, including the Chargers’ rough start, Baltimore’s loss, Cincinnati beginning 2-0, Houston struggling out of the gate and a significant injury for New England.

Later, the guys dive into the John Murphy credential controversy and a larger conversation about the relationship between the Buffalo Bills organization and the local media. Joe explains his reporting on Murphy losing his credential and why he believes the situation raises legitimate questions about media access and criticism surrounding the team.

Plus, Joe finally draws the winner of his Bills-Jets ticket contest, the guys discuss the evolving lineup and guest strategy at WGR, and—as usual—there’s plenty of arguing, ball-busting and chaos along the way.
