On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by former Buffalo Bills great and current team radio analyst Eric Wood for a discussion mostly about the Bills that includes training camp routines with new coaches, pressure of being Josh Allen, arduous golf adventures and more.

Eric was in Buffalo this week to take part in Josh Allen’s 117 hole golf challenge to benefit the Patricia Allen Fund at Children’s hospital. To be clear, the 117 holes is not a typo, it’s the amount of holes played in one day and incredibly, without golf carts. It’s amazing Eric even has the energy to talk after completing that—what was that event like for him and his fellow golfers?

Also, Erin’s achieved a level of celebrity as a former Bills star and someone still very much in the public eye. He discusses that and also tries to shed a tiny bit of insight about the unworldly celebrity of people like Allen and how difficult at times it must be for people like him.

The Bills will be starting camp soon. Eric has some thoughts on a few players and positions he’ll be having his eyes on when the football ramps up. That plus how his training camp routines differed when there was a new head coach and much more.
