On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Chris Mazella from the Step Brothers Sports Podcast just moments after the Buffalo Sabres picked up a huge win Monday nighit over tghe Tampa Bay Lightning in addition to some Buffalo Bills talk.
The Sabres needed to a victory over Tampa in regulation to keep a strong chance of winning the Atlantic Division on the table, and that’s exactly what they did. The guys talk about another strong UPL performance, critically needed offensive production from Alex Tuch, Josh Norris and Jason Zucker as well as a third line defensive pairing that felt questionable before the game but got the job done.
Also, if the Sabres don’t win the division would you rather face Tampa or Montreal in the first round if you’re Buffalo? Patrick’s surprised to arrive at Tampa but styles make fights and for a handful of reasons Buffalo simply matches up well against the Lightning.
On the Bills side, Patrick wants to know from Chris what he’s liked the most—and least so far among the Bills offseason activity. Of course that leads to Patrick giving his own thoughts as well and disappointing Chris by predicting the Bills will not be going wide receiver with the first round pick in a few weeks.
