On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran has a full preview of the Buffalo Bills vs Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday AFC wild card round showdown, including the latest on both teams, three keys to a Bills win, five bold predictions for the game and ultimately taking a stab at predicting who’s going to win and what the final score will be.
Truth be told, this doesn’t feel like an ideal situation for either team in the first round of the playoffs. The Bills absolutely cant win in Jacksonville, yet Patrick (and surely most Bills fans and media) aren’t brimming with confidence about the matchup either. Conversely, the exact same can be said for the Jacksonville faithful. Sure, winning the AFC South and getting the home field advantage for at least one game is great—but honestly does anyone who roots for Jacksonville really think this is the matchup they preferred, especially so early?
But it is what it is and this should be a very good game. Patrick lays out what he thinks are three of the biggest keys to the Bills advancing to the next round, including referencing a pair of stats that support them being almost unbeatable when they happen.
He also has his weekly five bold predictions for the game, including Parker Washington giving the Bills defense all they can want and more in the passing game as well as Matt Milano coming up big for the Buffalo defense. Lastly, a prediction for the game and Patrick admits he’s spent most the week truly not knowing who he thinks is going to win the game before waking up Thursday morning with a little clarity on why Buffalo will come out on top, at least he thinks so.
