On this bonus Saturday edition of Talking Buffalo. Patrick Moran has a full preview of the Buffalo Bills upcoming showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, including three keys to a Bills victory, five “bold” predictions for the game and taking a stab who he thinks will win and by what score.
The Bills have already clinched a playoff spot but there’s still plenty to play for, at least potentially against Philadelphia this week. For starters, winning this game along with the home finale against the New York Jets next week guarantees Buffalo no worse than the five seed and a likely first round playoff matchup at Pittsburgh. Additionally, it at least gives Buffalo a fighting chance to still win the division going into Week 18. Patrick goes over a handful of scenarios and how he thinks head coach Sean McDermott will handle the roster over these last two games.
He also spends time discussing both teams in terms of injuries and where they seem to be at right now, including a Philadelphia team that just feels loaded on paper and is very good, but seems to still be lacking a little bit with five losses this season.
Patrick also lays out his three keys to a Bills victory, which includes a pair of uneventful defensive tackles badly needing to step up for Buffalo. From there it’s five bold predictions before selecting who he thinks will win. Patrick’s picked against the Bills four times this season and they’re undefeated when he does so. Will he pick against them again? That and plenty more.
