On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Spectrum News sports anchor Andy Young for a Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs primer in advance of their huge matchup this weekend over a conversation recorded live from Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo.
It’s always a big game atmosphere when the Bills and Chiefs play and their meeting in the regular season for a fifth consecutive season. The guys cover the game and discuss both teams from every angle possible, including why it feels there’s at least a little more at stake for both teams in this matchup than their normal regular season matchup, as the loser could find it very (very) difficult to win their division title let alone knock down a number one seed in the conference.
They discuss some of the things going on with the Bills, including how they hope to replace Ed Oliver, Gabe Davis being moved from IR to the practice squad and what could happen at linebacker at Sunday if all the Buffalo linebackers are good to go–spoiler alert—it may not be what you think.
Patrick and Andy also talk about a few reasons Bills fans should feel really good about this game despite Kansas City being favored. They also talk about why beating Kansas City will be as difficult as ever and much more.
Big shout-out and thank you once again to Imperial Pizza for being a gracious host and for their excellent wings. They now have two locations, 1035 Abbott Road and also 1665 Main Street.
The Talking Buffalo online merch store is now live! You can purchase t shirts, hoodies, zip ups, crewnecks and polos in a couple of different styles and colors. Visit our online page for pricing and options and while there, check out Buf on Weck for tons of cool gear!
Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red’s at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. We consider them THE most underrated spot for wings, pizza and other great food in Western New York plus it’s a great place to drink and have a great time. Also big thanks to Imperial Pizza and their two locations (1035 Abbott Road and 1655 Main Street), home of not only great pizza and tons of other delicious eats but also the best everyday lunch special in town.
